New Trumpet Concerto

We are very proud to announce that Edward Malpass will be or soloist for this world premier of Tony Bridgewater's new Trumpet concerto
Ed is a well known local soloist and teacher and we are looking forwards working with him.

This concerto was composed as a commission by the WFSO with this March concert in mind

New Leader for WFSO

The Wyre Forest Symphony Orchestra is delighted to announce that Sarah Vernon has been appointed our new Leader from January 2025
Sarah studied at the Chethams school of music and Durham University before settling in Worcester 11 years ago
She has performed with many local orchestras as both soloist and deputy leader.
We are delighted she will become our Leader in January and look forwards to working with her ​
